Eagle eyed Tottenham Hotspur fans have spotted that Danny Rose’s fitness problems may not be entirely over just yet.
Rose was brought back into Tottenham’s starting line-up for their match against Borussia Dortmund last night, and the left-back put in a highly impressive performance.
Rose was a bundle of energy, as Spurs won 2-1 against their German opponents to ensure they won their Champions League group.
But the 27-year-old’s injury problems may not be completely behind him yet.
Spurs’ players posted a photo of the celebrations in the dressing room on social media after the match, and Rose could be seen wearing a huge ice pack on his knee.
Some Spurs fans expressed their concerns at the picture, and suggested that Rose could now be sidelined again at the weekend, as he is eased back into action.
Rose missed all of pre-season, after picking up an injury way back in January, and Mauricio Pochettino has been cautious with the defender so far.
Tottenham’s next match comes on Saturday against West Bromwich Albion.
