The Argentine looks like one of the most likely candidates to come on to Madrid’s radar.
And although Spurs fans are hoping that Pochettino stays with them, they have identified Howe as a potential replacement.
Howe has done a hugely impressive job at Bournemouth, taking them from a lower league side and establishing them in the Premier League.
The Cherries boss has never had an opportunity at a club the size of Tottenham, but he could be a great fit.
Howe promotes youth, plays stylish football and is an excellent training ground coach.
At the moment Pochettino looks set to stay at Spurs, but he has expressed some frustrations publicly in recent times.
