Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil has yet to start a Premier League game but is now back in the Spain squad for their upcoming games.
Gil joined Tottenham from Sevilla over the summer, arriving in a deal that saw Erik Lamela head in the opposite direction.
The 20-year-old has made four substitute appearances in the Premier League, totalling just 51 minutes.
Tottenham fans do appear to love Gil though, having been impressed with his energy and technique in tight areas.
Spain call up Gil for upcoming internationals
Gil has six Spain caps to his name already, but wasn’t named in the latest squad.
Atletico Madrid star Marcos Llorente is out injured now though, and Luis Enrique has chosen to give Gil the call-up.
Spain are in the UEFA Nations League Finals, taking on Italy in Milan on Wednesday night.
Gil joins fellow Premier League players David De Gea, Robert Sanchez, Marcos Alonso, Cesar Azpilicueta, Aymeric Laporte, Sergio Reguilon, Pablo Fornals, Rodri and Ferran Torres.

Tottenham fans react to Gil call-up
Tottenham fans have been reacting to the news, and it’s clear everybody loves Gil.
Some believe that it’s baffling to see Gil called up by Spain when Nuno won’t even pick him for Tottenham.
Others believe Tottenham have an absolute gem in Gil, branding him a ‘future star’.
