Tottenham Hotspur fans are obviously buzzing about the new Antonio Conte era, but few expected Ben Davies to be thriving after his arrival.
Conte has come into Tottenham and immediately implemented his usual three-at-the-back system.
That has resulted in Davies playing as a left-sided centre back for Conte, offering a naturally left-footed option in the Tottenham defence.
On Saturday, Davies played in a similar role for Wales – and actually got himself on the scoresheet.
Davies flicked home a header from Harry Wilson’s corner to help Wales on their to a 5-1 thrashing.
Remarkably, that was the first Wales goal Davies has scored despite racking up 68 caps for his country.
Unsurprisingly, Tottenham fans are attributing this milestone for Davies to Conte, believing he has worked a masterclass.

Tottenham supporters have joked that Davies has only scored a Wales goal after Conte’s decision to ban mayonnaise and ketchup from his player’s diets.
Others think Davies scoring is ‘unbelievable’ and just shows the impact Conte has already had.
Some think Conte is a magician, believing his golden touch is unparalleled.
