Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to loan out Josh Onomah to Aston Villa.
Tottenham Hotspur fans believe that Josh Onomah’s loan to Aston Villa is a sign that Mauricio Pochettino is about to make a signing.
Onomah is set to join Villa on loan for the upcoming campaign, according to the Daily Mirror.
And the youngster’s departure has sparked excitement from Tottenham fans, who believe that an attacking midfielder is on their way to North London.
Onomah was used as back-up at Spurs last season, and was given a handful of senior appearances.
His impending departure suggests that Pochettino feels that Onomah’s game time could be limited this season, and Tottenham fans have taken this to mean that a new number 10 is on their way.
Tottenham have been heavily linked with Everton midfielder Ross Barkley this summer in the Daily Mail, while The Sun suggested that Pochettino’s side were ready to step up their chase for Max Meyer yesterday.
Tottenham are the only team in the Premier League who have not made a signing so far this summer.
