Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris made some controversial comments after defeat to Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been left fuming with Hugo Lloris’ comments after the Champions League final.
Spurs were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool in Madrid on Saturday, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side were left crestfallen after the contest.
Tottenham were so close to winning the Champions League for the first time, but they just could not find their top performance in Spain.
“I don’t think Tottenham Hotspur is the type of club to challenge for the Champions League every season,” Lloris admitted.
The comments have not gone down well at all with Spurs fans, who think that Lloris is not showing enough ambition for a player who wears the armband.
Lloris, who is on a £120,000-a-week deal (Spotrac), shares a great relationship with Pochettino, but Tottenham supporters have questioned whether he should be captain before.
Lloris is not the most vocal member of the Tottenham squad, and Harry Kane is often pointed to as the north London’s side true talisman.
