Tottenham Hotspur were tipped as leading the race for Jeremy Toljan, but now Borussia Dortmund are set to swoop.
Tottenham Hotspur could be set to miss out on Hoffenheim defender Jeremy Toljan after hesitating over a deal.
German outlet Revier Sport report Toljan has emerged as a top target for Borussia Dortmund.

The Germany under-21 international can play in both full-back positions and has also previously been linked to Bayern Munich.
German newspaper BILD reported last month that Tottenham Hotspur were leading the race for Toljan.
Toljan was reported to be available at just over £3 million, an absolute steal for a player of his quality and potential.

With Kyle Walker sold for more than £50 million, there appeared very little to think about, but Spurs’ hesitation could now see them miss out.
Staying in Germany is the easier option for Toljan, and joining Dortmund will be tempting given their trac record of bringing through young talent.
Toljan’s versatility would have been ideal for Tottenham, but their task of signing him now looks a lot harder than it was a fortnight ago.
