Tottenham Hotspur have been impressed with Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski – and Antonio Cassano can’t believe Juventus let them go.
Tottenham failed to secure some key targets in January with Adama Traore and Luis Diaz both slipping through the net.
Two signings did come in on deadline day though as Fabio Paratici called up his former club Juventus for a double signing.
In came midfielder Bentancur permanently, joining Tottenham after links with Premier League rivals Aston Villa.
Bentancur was joined by teammate Kulusevski, with the winger arriving on loan with a view to a permanent summer deal.
The early signs have been very encouraging for Tottenham, with both Bentancur and Kulusevski providing the kind of quality Spurs needed.
Bentancur has been composed in the middle of the park, winning the ball back and recycling possession to a high level.
Kulusevski just keeps popping up with goals and assists, giving Tottenham a very real third threat in attack alongside Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
Tottenham are surely already planning to sign Kulusevski permanently having made such a great start to life in the Premier League.
This is the calibre of player Paratici needs to bring to Tottenham, and the hope is that both players will become fan favourites and make Juventus look foolish in the process.

For some though, Juventus already look silly for wasting both Bentancur and Kulusevski.
That’s the view of former Italy striker Antonio Cassano, who has slammed Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri.
Cassano, as quoted by Calciomercato, suggested that only Allegri could see Kuluservski and Bentancur but not let them play for Juve.
Cassano add that both players are doing well at Tottenham and may actually be better off away from Juve, believing Allegri is ruining other players too.
Right now, Tottenham probably feel very, very fortunate to have both Bentancur and Kulusevski in their ranks.
