Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier clattered into Sergio Ramos during England’s most recent international contest.

Dier earned plenty of plaudits for his display for the Three Lions on Monday evening, and the Tottenham man had one particularly memorable moment in the match.
Dier crunched Ramos with an early slide tackle, to set the tone for England.
Ramos appeared to have words with Dier on the pitch for the aggressive challenge, but the Spurs man insists there were no hard feelings between them after the match.
“I don’t remember what he [Ramos] said about the tackle,” Dier said. “He just congratulated me at the end. We controlled those moments really well. We won fouls at the right time. We did those things really well.”

Dier’s combative performance in England’s midfield helped Gareth Southgate’s side pick up a memorable victory on their travels.
Tottenham had strong representation in the England team which beat Spain, with Kieran Trippier, Harry Winks and Harry Kane also featuring.
The quartet should all return to Tottenham full of confidence, after what was an outstanding performance for their country.
Tottenham are next in action on Saturday, when they take on West Ham United.
