Tottenham Hotspur are said to be scouting midfielder Denis Zakaria, as they plan for life without Mousa Dembele.

Tottenham Hotspur could replace the power that are set to lose from the sale of Mousa Dembele by bringing in Denis Zakaria.
Zakaria might not possess quite as much skill as Dembele, but he would help to ensure that Tottenham do not lose any muscle as a result of the Belgian’s seemingly impending departure.
Dembele is set to move to China, according to the Guardian, with Tottenham now aiming to bring in midfielders this month.

And if Spurs were to bring in the Switzerland international then they would add steel to their current squad.
Zakaria is a very effective shield in front of Monchengladbach’s defence, and while he doesn’t posses the same quality in possession as Dembele, he could still be a very useful addition to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
