Tottenham Hotspur’s players are believed to be buzzing after just one day of the Antonio Conte era after enduring one of their most intense training sessions.
That’s according to The Telegraph, who claim that Tottenham players now know exactly what they’re in for under Conte.
The Italian can’t actually lead training right now as he waits for a work permit to work in England once again.
However, Conte was able to oversee training and give an address to his players just hours after becoming Tottenham boss.
It’s added that Tottenham were put through their most intense training session in weeks as they attempt to adjust to life under Conte.
Conte even told his players that he will treat them all equally and there will be no favourites – something suggested as being different to predecessor Nuno Espirito Santo.
Nuno left his entire first team at home for the trip to Vitesse Arnhem, with Harry Winks publicly unimpressed.
That kind of divide between first team stars and squad players seemingly won’t exist under Conte.
That’s one big change already, and Tottenham players immediately seem happy with the decision to replace Nuno with Conte.
