Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be one of the leading contenders to land Xherdan Shaqiri in the summer.

Shaqiri looks likely to move on from Stoke at the end of the season, with Paul Lambert’s side set to be relegated from the Premier League.
And only Everton and Liverpool are considered more likely to sign Shaqiri than Spurs.
The Lilywhites are rated as 8/1 shots to land the Swiss international, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side looking to invest in the summer.

Should Spurs move to Shaqiri?
Quite why Spurs are so short in the odds, seems somewhat of a mystery.
Tottenham may be looking to add to their attack in the summer, but it seems highly unlikely that Shaqiri would be on Pochettino’s shopping list.

The Spurs boss demands that his players are relentless on the pitch, and Shaqiri could struggle to fit in with that style.
On his day, the Swiss international can be a match-winner, but he has been inconsistent this season.
And Spurs are likely to have their sights set higher than landing Shaqiri this summer.
