Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly confident that Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld will sign a new deal with the north London club this summer.
According to reports from The Mirror, Victor Wanyama and Alderweireld remain the only two first-teamers who are yet to sign new deals with the club.
However, both the players will be rewarded for their outstanding performances this season. Mirror adds that Spurs are confident Alderweireld will commit his future at the club, despite interest from Serie A giants, Inter Milan.

The Standard reported earlier that the Belgian defender is seeking parity with the club’s top earners like Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris.
The 28-year-old has two more years left on his current deal, but Tottenham have the option to extend it to 2020.
According to journalist Kristof Terreur, Alderweireld has a £25 million release clause. However, that remains valid till the summer of 2019 and only if the club decide to take up the option of extending his contract.
The Belgian joined Spurs in 2015 and has developed into one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League. Needless to say, Spurs will try their best to persuade him to agree to a new deal at the earliest.
