Tottenham coach John McDermott praises club hierarchy.

Tottenham Hotspur development coach John McDermott has told the club’s official website about his experience at the club’s new stadium.
McDermott helped the under-18 side prepare for their bow at the stadium this weekend.
He admitted to feeling under pressure. Tottenham won the game 3-1.
The coach had praise for manager Mauricio Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy.
He said: “There was pressure and it’s a pressure I’ve tried to hide from the players and the staff. I’ve been here all week speaking to the groundsmen, speaking to the engineers, speaking to the architects and realising how many people have spent so much of their working lives dedicated towards building this stadium.
“The gaffer’s here and everything he’s done, the board and Daniel Levy, what he’s done, the amount of his life he’s dedicated to doing this is quite incredible and I just hope everyone was proud that we played our part today.”

The stadium has had rave reviews just from the test event at the weekend.
The delays have already been forgotten, replaced with excitement and disbelief at just how spectacular it is.
Levy has had plenty of fair criticism about his reluctance to spend. At least now the method behind his motives can be seen by all.
