Tottenham fans backed the team’s FA Youth Cup win earlier this week.
Tottenham Hotspur head of player development John McDermott has thanked supporters for their terrific support this week in the FA Youth Cup.
A bigger than expected crowd of committed fans were in attendance at QPR’s Loftus Road to see Spurs take on the Hoops.

They were repaid as their cast of young talent dealt out a heavy victory, winning 4-1.
McDermott was quick to praise the supporter for going above and beyond what he had envisioned, also praising their knowledge of the young players in action.
He told the club’s official website: “We don’t normally get an army of Tottenham fans when we play at the training centre so to have that level of support where they know all the players’ names and sing them aloud is superb.
“It gives the boys that little bit of a taster of the pressure of being able to play in front of a crowd and having to entertain them – we had unbelievable support again.”

Tottenham’s victory will have come as no surprise to fans who have been tracking their highly rated youth set up in recent times.
The goals were scored through Jack Roles (2), Reo Griffiths and George Marsh, with Samuel Shashoua pulling the strings in attack.
Tottenham reached the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup two seasons ago, and are bidding to win the competition for the first time since 1989-90.
London rivals Chelsea have won the trophy for the last three years in succession.
