Tottenham Hotspur are at risk of losing three of their most integral players on free transfers.

The three Spurs player’s futures at Hotspur Way are currently very uncertain, as they have under a year left on their respective contracts.
Tottenham are in serious danger of having to part company with the key trio without receiving any money for their services.
The thought is that Spurs may attempt to get all three to sign new contracts before their current deals expire, but progress has been slow so far.
Indeed, it was somewhat of a surprise that both Eriksen and Alderweireld didn’t leave Spurs in the summer.
And Pochettino has praised the commitment that his players have shown, in what have been testing circumstances.
“In football anything can happen. It is only the beginning of the season,” he said.
“A few players do start the last year of their contract but that is in the hands of the club and the club will take the best decision to be competitive every season.

“At the end of the season we see what happens. I am happy with the commitment the players show, whether it’s five years or two, or one year on their contract. They all show commitment to the club.”
If Spurs do lose Eriksen, Vertonghen and Alderweireld at the end of the season it will be a huge blow to the North London side.
The trio rank among Spurs’s most experienced and important players, and it would likely cost a fortune to find replacements of similar quality.
