Newcastle United beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0, in one of the shock results of the weekend.

Pochettino and Bruce were seen in discussions with each other, after Tottenham countered on Newcastle, while Joelinton was down injured.
The Brazilian striker was on the floor clutching his leg, but Tottenham played on and almost created an opportunity.
But Pochettino insists that the debate on the touchline with Bruce was not a serious falling out.
“In that situation we were having a conversation,” Pochettino explained. “He said to me that I must stop the game. I said ‘how from here?’. All the players were running in another direction and I said ‘how, how?’. He said ‘no, you need to handle it, manage the situation’. I said ‘I’m sorry but from here they can’t hear me. If your players can hear you from here it is because you are connected’. No it was nothing, no big issue.”

Bruce is unlikely to be too concerned about the incident now, as Newcastle picked up a vital and unexpected win.
Joelinton was the only scorer as the Magpies got past Spurs to pick up their first victory of the season.
The result relieves the pressure that had been building on Newcastle, but has left serious questions being asked at Tottenham, after what has been a underwhelming opening to the campaign.
