Dele Alli scored Tottenham Hotspur’s late equaliser against West Bromwich Albion yesterday.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has told the National that Dele Alli needs to improve his performances.
Alli scored Tottenham’s last minute equaliser in their most recent outing against West Bromwich Albion.
However, Pochettino insists that the 20-year-old still needs to get better, as he spurned a number of chances before hitting the back of the net at the Hawthorns.

“I’m happy for Dele Alli but he needs to improve. He had a chance in the first half when he had to score,” Pochettino said.
Alli’s goal was wonderfully well taken, as he prodded home from close range to rescue a point for Spurs.

The England international had been put through on goal twice before he beat Ben Foster though, and he could not take his opportunities.
Totteham’s draw with West Brom has extended their unbeaten record in the Premier League to eight games.
Spurs are still only one point behind Manchester City at the top of the table, after making an excellent start to the new campaign.
