Tottenham Hotspur youngster Josh Onomah has lost his place at Aston Villa.

Mauricio Pochettino decided against recalling Josh Onomah from Aston Villa in January, but the Tottenham Hotspur boss may be regretting that decision now.
Onomah was kept at Villa, as he was starting regularly for Steve Bruce’s side in the Championship.
However, the Spurs youngster has lost his place in Villa’s team recently, and faces a tough challenge to win his place back.

Villa have won their last seven Championship matches in succession, which means that Bruce has been loathed to make changes to his starting line-up recently.
Onomah has not started in the league in the entirety of 2018 to date, and it is hard to see his progression being aided by time on the bench.

Onomah may as well have been kept at Spurs, if he isn’t going to feature for the claret and blues.
And if Onomah doesn’t win his place back in Villa’s team, Pochettino may be regretting not bringing the 20-year-old back to Tottenham while he had a chance.
