Tottenham Hotspur will take on Chelsea in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has surprisingly shared that he ‘never’ lost control during his confrontation with referee Mike Dean following his side’s 2-1 defeat at Burnley over the weekend.
Pochettino approached Dean after the full-time whistle where he was clearly annoyed and angered at the officiating and at something that was seemingly said to him.
As reported by Sky Sports on Tuesday, Pochettino has apologised to the senior official and accepted the FA’s charge of misconduct.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference ahead of Spurs’ clash at Chelsea, Pochettino told Sky Sports News on 26/02/2019 at 1:10 pm that he was seemingly calm during the Dean incident.
“I need to tell you that I never lose the control,” Pochettino told Sky Sports News. “I was under control. But of course, at that moment, nothing happened, nothing is going on. I hope I don’t repeat this type of situation.
Pochettino then joked that his assistant, Jesus Perez, who also expressed his anger towards Dean at the full-time whistle was ‘calm and relaxed’.”

The defeat at Turf Moor was a body blow to Spurs’ chances of winning the Premier League title because they had an opportunity of closing the gap on current leaders Liverpool and second-placed Manchester City in the table.
Nonetheless, they will now focus their attention to Stamford Bridge where they will take on Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea following their remarkable Carabao Cup final defeat to City at the weekend.
A defeat for Spurs here could result in them looking over their shoulders because they are currently seven points behind fourth-placed Arsenal, who they play at the weekend.
