Tottenham Hotspur have not won a trophy since Mauricio Pochettino took charge.

Mauricio Pochettino has told Football.London that anyone accusing Tottenham Hotspur’s players of not being winners is wrong.
Tottenham’s defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final has led to questions being asked over whether Spurs are destined to be perennial nearly-men.
However, Pochettino insists that his Spurs squad are far more than that – even if they are yet to win a trophy under his leadership.

“Remove that idea, it’s not true,” he said, when asked if Spurs lack a winning mentality.
“They’re winners, another thing is to win titles, but they’re winners.”
Tottenham still have a chance to silence their critics by winning the Premier League title this season.

Spurs are currently in a race with Chelsea for top spot, and remain within touching distance of their London rivals.
Chelsea currently have a four point advantage over Spurs, but with six games remaining to play – it is far from a secure lead.
Chelsea are next in action later this evening, when they take on Southampton at Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham, meanwhile, are scheduled to play next against Crystal Palace at Sehurst Park tomorrow evening.
