Tottenham Hotspur youngster Josh Onomah and Marcus Edwards have both been sent out on loan this season.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino could be forgiven for having concerns over both Josh Onomah and Marcus Edwards, with the pair both being criticised for the same reason on their loan spells.

Onomah has been at Aston Villa all season, while Marcus Edwards is at Norwich City and it is fair to say that neither of the pair’s loan moves have worked out ideally.

Onomah has featured regularly for Villa, but his attitude has come under question.

The 20-year-old has been heavily criticised on social media by claret and blues fans, who feel the Spurs youngster is not showing enough desire.

It has been a similar story for Edwards at Norwich, even though he is yet to feature for the Canaries.

Norwich boss Daniel Farke has publicly stated that Edwards needs to work harder off the ball, if he is to break into his side.

And Pochettino must now have some worries about the highly rated duo.

The Argentine boss is a hard manager to please, and he demands high levels of work-rate from every one of his players.

And unless Edwards and Onomah start putting in the hard yards, then they may not be able to fulfil their obvious potential at Spurs.
