Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has suggested that signings need to be made.

Pochettino has always kept his cards close to his chest when talking about Spurs’ transfers.
But he has now suggested that Tottenham need to make signings and raise their budget.
He said: “There is a lot of work to be on the level we want in the future. If your expectation is to win the league, maybe you need to sign players or have a different budget.”
The words are a clear message to Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, as the transfer window draws closer.

Spurs have not made a signing in well over a year, but Pochettino has ensured that they have continued to compete.
Tottenham are currently in third place in the Premier League, and they remain in the Champions League.
Spurs take on Manchester City later this evening in Europe’s premier competition, looking to protect a 1-0 lead from the first leg.
And if Pochettino is given money to spend at Spurs this summer then next season could be very exciting for the north London club.
