Tottenham Hotspur were beaten once again on Saturday, as their poor form continued.

Spurs have been in abject form of late, and were beaten 1-0 by Bournemouth on Saturday.
Tottenham have made good progress in the Champions League, but their domestic form seems to have dipped as a result.
But Pochettino insists that Tottenham’s progress in Europe is not to blame for his side’s struggles of late.
“I don’t believe that, when you watch the performance [against Bournemouth] in the first 40 minutes until the red card of Sonny, the team was playing so well, so comfortable on the pitch,” Pochettino said.
“They had one corner, but the team was very comfortable on the pitch, Now we can talk about many thing but I was very happy. After the game you cannot be happy. I’m disappointed and sad because it is cruel the way we lost the game, we feel disappointed at sad in the way that we lost the game.”

Despite Tottenham’s poor form they still will almost certainly be playing Champions League football next season.
Manchester United and Arsenal both failed to win yesterday, which effectively hands Spurs a place in the top four.
Tottenham’s attention will now be firmly on their match against Ajax on Wednesday.
Spurs go into the second leg looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit on aggregate.
