Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino says that rival clubs should show respect to them.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has accused Chelsea manager Antonio Conte of showing lack of respect towards the London club.
The Chelsea manager questioned Tottenham’s ambition, saying it is “not a tragedy” for them if they don’t win the Premier League, nor if they secure Champions League places.

He added that for clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool, it would be a “tragedy” if these clubs fail to meet their expectations.
The Italian further went on to reveal his admiration for Spurs striker Harry Kane, saying the England international is one of the best strikers in the world, and that he would cost at least £100 million.
It could be a mind-game tactics from Conte, or he could be venting his frustration for not getting the type of players he wanted.
Pochettino has responded by saying it is meaningless for managers to focus on other clubs. At the same time, he has demanded “respect” from the rival clubs.
Spurs finished second in the Premier League last season, and will be looking to mount a serious title challenge again this term.
“I like to show respect [to other clubs] but I expect the same from people who compete with us,” said Pochettino, as quoted by The Times.
“It made me laugh [on Harry Kane]. I don’t know why so many managers are focused on our club.”
