Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has suggested to Football.London that Son Heung-min is not underrated.

Son, who can operate as a winger or as a forward, is one of the best players in the current Tottenham team and has been in superb form for the North London outfit so far this season.

The South Korea international has made 15 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Spurs manager Pochettino does not believe that Son is underrated, and he has suggested that football followers know how good the 26-year-old is.

Pochettino told Football.London about Son while discussing whether he is the most underestimated player in the Premier League: “Sonny I think is a player who is very well rated by everyone. Of course since November he’s been doing a fantastic job for us.

“Of course after the Asian Cup he’s scoring goals and helping in a very delicate situation for us when different players were injured and I think he stepped up and is doing a fantastic job. I hope he can continue in the same way.”
