Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier has been linked with a move to Manchester United in recent times.

Tottenham Hotspur Mauricio Pochettino has refused to speak to Football.London about rumours linking Eric Dier with Manchester United.
The Sun claimed that United are lining up a £40 million bid for Dier in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils reportedly believe that the defender could be one of their main additions at the end of the season.
And Pochettino would not confirm whether there was any credibility in the reports suggesting that United want the former Sporting Lisbon man.
“I think a lot of rumours happen in this time of the season. In the media, it’s not only him, it’s many players – in and out, me too, different coaches. It’s an open game, all is possible and all can speak,” Pochettino said.
“But I don’t want to speak about rumours because it’s always the same – if you speak for one rumour then it’s right to speak about all the rumours. The press conference would be very long if we start to talk about all the rumours. There’s no sense now.”
Dier was signed as a relative unknown by Spurs back in 2014, but he has quickly progressed into a star for club and country.
Dier is now talked about as a potential future Tottenham captain, and losing him would surely be a blow for the North London side.
Dier has played regularly at centre-back for Tottenham this season, with his performances impressing.
And, despite the rumours linking him with a move to Old Trafford, Dier looks set to start against Burnley in Spurs’ next match at the weekend.
