Barcelona are leading the race for Tottenham Hotspur transfer target and Chelsea central defender Andreas Christensen, according to Sport.
Andreas Christensen rumours
Sport have reported that Barcelona are in pole position for Christensen, who is also wanted by Antonio Conte’s Tottenham.
The report in the Spanish publication has claimed that the 25-year-old has no intention of renewing his contract at Chelsea.
The Denmark international centre-back reportedly wants to leave the defending European champions when his current contract runs out in the summer of 2022.
The Daily Star reported in December that Tottenham, Manchester United and Manchester City all are interested in Christensen.

Blow for Tottenham Hotspur
In our opinion, the report in Sport will be a blow for Tottenham in their quest to sign Christensen on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.
Now that the January transfer window is open, Barcelona can actually strike a pre-contract agreement with the Chelsea defender.
Tottenham cannot.
That will give a massive advantage to Barcelona over Tottenham, Manchester United and Manchester City.
Moreover, Chelsea and Tottenham are bitter London rivals, and Christensen will be aware of that as well.
