AS Roma are interested in signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to Il Romanista.
Il Romanista have reported that Roma head coach Jose Mourinho wants to sign a midfielder and has identified Hojbjerg as a potential target.
Mourinho worked with the Denmark international midfielder at Tottenham and likes him a lot.
Roma know that signing the 26-year-old from Spurs in the summer of 2022 will be expensive, but the Serie A club are ready to back Mourinho.
Could Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg leave Tottenham for Roma?
In our view, it is unlikely that Roma will be able to sign Hojbjerg from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

Unless, of course, the midfielder – described as “a warrior” by Conte on Tottenham’s official website in November 2021 – himself pushes to go.
The Dane is a regular in the Tottenham team and does perform consistently well.
Hojbjerg has scored two goals and given one assist in 20 Premier League matches for Tottenham so far this season.
We do not think that Tottenham will be willing to sell the 26-year-old midfielder, unless, of course, they are offered a lot in transfer fees.
