Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Ebrima Darboe from Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma, according to 90min.
90min have reported that Tottenham have been monitoring Darboe, who is 20 and plays as a defensive midfielder.
Former Tottenham head coach Mourinho is now the manager of Roma.
The report has added that Mourinho, a former Chelsea and Manchester United manager, is a fan of Ebrima Darboe.
90min have reported that a summer transfer to Tottenham is more likely for Darboe if the Gambia international defensive midfielder is to leave Roma.
Could Ebrima Darboe leave Roma for Tottenham?
In our view, Tottenham do have a good chance of signing Roma defensive midfielder Ebrima Darboe.
But not now – in the summer of 2022.

Roma are aiming to finish in the top four of Serie A this season.
So, in our opinion, Mourinho is unlikely to sell any of his players in the January transfer window.
Now, Darboe has made only one start in Serie A so far this season, but he is very talented and is only 20.
Darboe is now with Gambia at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations.
If Tottenham make the right offer to Roma in the summer of 2022, then they could convince them to cash in on Darboe, who will surely be tempted by a move to a top club in the Premier League.
