Ajax star Mohammed Kudus is interested in a move to England amid interest from the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.

The World Cup always offers a great platform for players to go and show their talents in front of potential suitors.

PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo is a perfect example having excelled in the Netherlands attack.

Another Eredivisie star has been shining though with Ajax ace Mohammed Kudus turning in superb displays for Ghana.

Mohammed Kudus is interested in a move to England

Kudus scored twice for Ghana against South Korea, securing a 3-2 win for his county.

It wasn’t enough to send Ghana through though as they were beaten 2-0 by Uruguay on Friday evening.

Kudus has still emerged from this tournament as a real sensation though and those who have seen him for Ajax this season probably knew it was coming.

The 22-year-old has been sensational for Ajax this term, bagging 10 goals and two assists in 21 games.

Capable of playing out wide, as a number 10, even as a false nine, Kudus has become a truly versatile attacking weapon.

Interest was inevitable and 90Min claim that Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have all made contact to try and sign Kudus.

The Sun now have an update, claiming that Ajax are willing to sell Kudus for around £40million.

They also add that Kudus is open to playing in the Premier League – but only for a club in the Champions League.

A January move seems unlikely now and Kudus could see out the season and see who qualifies for Europe’s top competition.

Arsenal and Tottenham are strong shouts for top four finishes now and Newcastle now have major hope of doing the same.

This could be a long wait for Kudus but based on his World Cup displays and his Eredivisie campaign, he may be worth it.
