Tottenham Hotspur are ‘moving decisively’ to try and secure the signature of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot – but Arsenal are ‘also pressing’.
That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb, who claim that the race for Rabiot’s signature is hotting up ahead of January.
It’s suggested that Tottenham are leading the race with Fabio Paratici once again seeking a deal with his former club.
Paratici pounced to sign Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski in January 2022 and may look to repeat the trick.
Juventus are in disarray at the moment after their entire board resigned, meaning a new contract for Rabiot is looking difficult.
Rabiot does not intend to stay with Juventus anyway but Arsenal and Tottenham may find a January move difficult.
Rabiot allegedly wants to wait until the end of the season to decide his future, seemingly fancying to move on as a free agent.

Arsenal and Tottenham would be taking a risk with Rabiot
We can understand some interest in Rabiot heading into 2023.
The Frenchman enjoyed a strong World Cup campaign and has been in great form this season with five goals and two assists in 16 games for Juventus.
However, Rabiot feels like fool’s gold for any club that wants him, such as Arsenal or Tottenham.
Rabiot was long tabbed as a star of the future but never really became a dominant midfielder with Paris Saint-Germain.
A move to Juventus hasn’t really worked out and it’s a little concerning that his best form for Juve is coming amid contract uncertainty.
Rabiot may well be turning it on now in order to secure himself a big contract at the end of the season.
Rabiot has just never really managed to live up to his billing and with his 28th birthday just a few months away, you have to wonder whether these in-form days are here to stay.
The chaos at Juventus coupled with Rabiot’s contract situation makes him appealing but we would encourage Arsenal and Tottenham to look elsewhere for midfield reinforcements in 2023.
