Arnaut Danjuma has completed a shock move to Tottenham Hotspur – and has received a message from Chloe Kelly.

Villarreal winger Danjuma seemed all set for Everton having completed a medical with the Toffees over the weekend.

Yet when Everton sacked Frank Lampard on Monday, Danjuma seemingly had a change of heart.

Tottenham sensed an opportunity to hijack the deal and moved quickly to pull it off, with Danjuma heading to London on Tuesday afternoon.

Spurs confirmed Danjuma’s arrival earlier today, securing a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.

The Dutchman arrives to give Tottenham another attacking option, providing the versatility to play out wide or up front.

Having previously struggled to make an impact in the Premier League with Bournemouth, Danjuma will be looking for better this time around.

Danjuma celebrates Tottenham move on Instagram

Danjuma has now taken to Instagram to react after securing his move to Tottenham.

The 25-year-old stated the Tottenham motto of ‘to dare is to do’ before vowing to get to work quickly with Spurs.

Danjuma received a surprise response from England Lionesses heroine Chloe Kelly.

Manchester City ace Kelly scored the dramatic winner against Germany over the summer, handing England the European Championship.

That made the 25-year-old a national icon – especially having suffered a major knee injury back in 2021.

Kelly is a lifelong Queens Park Rangers fan who idolises Bobby Zamora, but she still loves seeing Danjuma make a move to the Premier League.

Kelly took to Instagram to state that ‘the Prem isn’t ready’ for Danjuma, seemingly backing him to shine at Tottenham.

Spurs fans will be hoping that Kelly is right, especially as Danjuma could secure a long-term future with Tottenham with some impressive displays between now and the summer.
