Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Burnley’s Ben Mee ahead of the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur are giving Ben Mee the attention he deserves, after a stellar season at Burnley this campaign.
The Sun (25th March 2018; page 63) claim that Spurs could move for the £20 million-rated centre-back in the summer transfer window, and if Mee does earn move to Mauricio Pochettino’s side, then it will have been fully deserved.
Mee’s brilliant form may not have been recognised by England, but he has arguably been Burnley’s most solid defender since their promotion to the Premier League.

Mee was in great form alongside Michael Keane last season, and he has been similarly excellent in partnership with James Tarkowski this time around.
Although the 28-year-old would be making a big step up to play for Spurs, his form has certainly merited it.

And Mee could offer valuable depth at centre-back at Tottenham, if Toby Alderweireld does depart in the summer.
Not only does he know the Premier League, Mee has been in excellent form for a number of years, and there should be a confidence that he would not look out of place if he was to join up with Pochettino’s side.
