Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte is still in love with Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, according to Quotidiano.net.

The report has claimed that Tottenham would move for Lukaku only if they lose fellow striker Harry Kane.

Conte worked with Lukaku at Inter Milan and won the Serie A title last season.

And, according to Quotidiano.net, Tottenham head coach Conte still loves the Belgium international striker.

Could Romelu Lukaku join Antonio Conte at Tottenham Hotspur?

Gazzetta.it reported over the weekend that Lukaku could decide to leave Chelsea and reunite with Conte at Tottenham.

The report in the Italian publication claimed that the 28-year-old striker is not happy at Chelsea.

In our opinion, it is unlikely that the former Manchester United striker will move to Tottenham in the summer of 2022.

Now, of course, we know that Lukaku rates Conte highly.

But, we do not think that Chelsea will sell their star striker to bitter London rivals Tottenham.

And even if the Blues are open to selling Lukaku after just one season, would Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy be willing to pay almost £100 million for him?

Because, let’s face it, Chelsea are going to ask for at least the £97.5 million they paid to Inter in the summer of 2021.
