Antonio Conte’s days at Tottenham Hotspur appear numbered with the board aware of real morale problems in the dressing room.

That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Daniel Levy is ready to sack Conte during the international break.

It’s claimed that Conte’s sheer presence at Tottenham is really affecting morale amongst Tottenham players.

The Spurs board are allegedly ‘aware’ of this issue and it appears to be a factor in the decision to let Conte go.

Levy and co don’t want a miserable squad – especially with Champions League football up for grabs in the coming weeks.

That may well lead to Conte’s exit in the coming days with Tottenham using the international break to weigh up the Italian’s future.

Tottenham dressing room problems no surprise amid Antonio Conte rant

Conte may have dug his own grave grave here after his comments on Saturday.

Tottenham threw away a 3-1 lead at struggling Southampton to only end up drawing 3-3.

Conte was furious after the final whistle and turned his anger towards his own players.

Conte remarkably blasted his players for a lack of desire, their inability to play under pressure and even slammed them as ‘selfish’.

The Italian was largely expected to leave Tottenham anyway this summer, but these comments are surely the end of the road.

Conte’s position feels almost untenable at this point and you can hardly blame Tottenham players for being upset and offended by those comments.

Maybe there was an element of truth to some of Conte’s words, but how can he question Tottenham players’ commitment?

Conte has been hinting at leaving Tottenham almost every other months since getting the job and didn’t commit his future to the club.

It’s little surprise that Tottenham players haven’t fully bought into a manager who doesn’t seem fully invested in Spurs, and the board may now decide it’s time to go.
