Some Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the goal from Danny Ings for Southampton against Wolverhampton Wanderers this afternoon.

Ings scored a superb goal for Southampton to give them the lead in the 25th minute in the Premier League game against Wolves at St. Mary’s Stadium today.

Stuart Armstrong produced a brilliant assist for the former Liverpool striker to volley past Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patrício.

It was a stunning goal from the 28-year-old England international, who has been linked with both Tottenham and City.

Eurosport reported in January 2021 that Tottenham are interested in signing Ings from Premier League rivals Southampton in the summer of 2021.

The Athletic reported this month that City are looking at the Southampton star as a potential transfer target when the window opens at the end of the season.

According to WhoScored, the English striker scored 22 goals in the Premier League last season, and so far this campaign, he has scored eight goals in the league.
