Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Ruben Neves for Wolverhampton Wanderers against Everton.
Neves featured for Wolves in their Premier League game against Everton at home on Saturday evening.
The 21-year-old midfielder started the match at the Molineux Stadium and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it finished in a 2-2 draw.
The Portugal international played well for the Wanderers and scored for the home team in the 44th minute.
The performance of the former FC Porto midfielder was very encouraging, and Tottenham and Liverpool fans were impressed and want him signed in the January transfer window or next summer.
Both Tottenham and Liverpool were linked with moves for the winger in the summer transfer window.
According to The Express & Star, Liverpool wanted to sign Neves this summer, while The Mirror credited Tottenham with interest in the youngster – who joined Wolves from Porto in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £15 million.
