Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Ryan Sessegnon.

Tottenham Hotspur were linked with a late deadline day move for Ryan Sessegnon – before Fulham owner Tony Khan moved to shut them down.
The Mirror reported (live blog 8/8 13:36) that Spurs want to make a late move for the teenage sensation.
Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones also reported Fulham’s worry over a late Tottenham move, while BBC Sport’s David Ornstein claimed Spurs had a bid rejected two weeks ago consisting of cash plus Danny Rose.
Tottenham have had a disastrous transfer window so far, failing to sign a single player.
This puts them on the back foot on deadline day, with selling clubs knowing Tottenham are in a tough spot.
A move for Sessegnon would have beeb terrific if Spurs could pull it off, but they have shown zero ability to close deals so far this summer, and a transfer for the Fulham man would require a club record transfer fee.
Spurs fans were doubtful, if at least a little hopeful, over a move.
Fulham supporters are determined that the club does not sell, and if they do, a king’s ransom is demanded.
Sessegnon is a truly remarkable talent, so huge fees being discussed are understandable.
Fulham owner Tony Khan moved to address the speculation.
Here is a look at how fans of the newly promoted side reacted to the reports..
