Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa fans react to Josh Onomah’s performance for England U21s

Tottenham Hotspur’s Josh Onomah was back in action for England Under-21s on Tuesday, having sat out the last four games for loan club Aston Villa.

The 20-year-old started the Three Lions’ 2-1 win against Ukraine at Bramall Lane, in which his Tottenham colleague Kyle Walker-Peters remained an unused substitute.

And with rumoured White Hart Lane targets Ryan Sessegnon and James Maddison also on show, there was plenty of incentive for Spurs fans to switch on for the evening’s early kick-off.

Goals from Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Liverpool’s Dominic Solanke – whose winner arrived two minutes from time – secured a 2-1 win for Aidy Boothroyd’s side in Sheffield.
