Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal fans react to Joe Gomez speculation

Liverpool defender Joe Gomez is reportedly wanted by Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the clubs with moves for Liverpool central defender Joe Gomez.

According to 90min.com, Gomez is frustrated at his lack of playing time at Liverpool and is open to leaving the Merseyside outfit in the January transfer window.

The report has claimed that North London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham are open to landing the 22-year-old England international.

Gomez is a very good and promising young central defender, and the Englishman would be a good long-term signing for Arsenal or Tottenham.

Although neither the Gunners nor Spurs are in the race for the Premier League title this season, the Reds may not be willing to part company with a squad player in the middle of the season in which they are aiming to win the league as well as the Champions League.
