Alasdair Gold has given his verdict on reported Tottenham Hotspur managerial target Roberto De Zerbi.
The football.london journalist said on his YouTube channel that the 43-year-old’s football is “beautiful to watch”.
However, Gold also said he wasn’t sure whether De Zerbi’s antics against Tottenham could’ve counted against him.

The Italian has worked wonders at the Amex Stadium since taking over from Graham Potter in September.
He has continued his predecessor’s good work and looks set for a record high Premier League finish with his club.
Gareth Southgate recently said De Zerbi was doing some “amazing” work with a side playing “unique” football.
However, the Brighton manager and Cristian Stellini made headlines on Saturday.
De Zerbi appeared to angrily confront the Tottenham interim manager at the pre-match handshake.
Later on in the game, both coaches were shown a red card.
This happened after personnel from the two benches clashed on the touchline around the hour mark.

‘Incendiary’
“He’s an intense character,” Gold said. “I do wonder, you know…
“Obviously I was a big fan of him as a potential Spurs candidate and still am because of the football. The football is incredible it’s beautiful to watch .
“But yeah, you do start to wonder whether after the Conte era and the kind of firecracker of a manager he was, the incendiary type he could be, would you want to bring in another person who looks like he’s going to be very similar?”
De Zerbi’s stock has risen quickly in the past few months as he continues to deliver ‘wonderful football’.
Indeed, Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari recently called him “the world’s best coach”.
With that in mind, clubs will no doubt be circling around the Italian in the coming months.
However, you can’t help but wonder whether he may have hurt his chances of linking up with Spurs.
