Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Twitter that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have discussed personal terms with Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Tottenham are keen on signing Traore from Premier League rivals Wolves in the January transfer window.

Tottenham are in talks with Wolves over the signing of the winger and are confident that they will reach an agreement with the Wanderers soon.

Adama Traore to Tottenham Hotspur happening?

In our view, it seems that it is only a matter of time before Traore moves to Tottenham from Wolves this month.

We have covered reports here on HITC Sport claiming that Spurs are edging closer to signing the former Barcelona winger.

Tottenham have had an initial bid of £15 million for Traore turned down, but they think that they will get the Spanish star for £20 million.

As Romano reports, Spurs have discussed personal terms with Traore, which suggests that they are confident that they will get the deal over the line.

Traore is a very quick and direct winger who would make Conte’s Tottenham a better and more fearful team in attack.

In our view, for £20 million, Traore could prove to be a bargain signing for Tottenham.
