Tottenham Hotspur defender talks up Manchester United new boy Fred.

Manchester United’s failure to sign Toby Alderweireld will be continue to be talking point ahead of this evening’s game with Tottenham Hotspur.
United did spend big on one player in the summer, paying £53 million to sign midfielder Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk.
He is a player who Tottenham right-back Serge Aurier has come up against before while playing for Paris Saint-Germain.
Aurier told Tottenham’s official website that he was impressed with the transfer.
He said: “I remember when I played against him when he was at Shakhtar Donetsk and I was at PSG, he played well but he was only young then.
“Now he has got much more experience, he’s been to the World Cup. He signed with Manchester United in the summer and, for me, that was a good decision by United. He’s good defensively and it’s a big, big test when you’re against him.”

Teammate Lucas Moura also went on to tip international colleague Fred for a ‘big future’ in the Premier League.
Fred has played two competitive games so far for United, with mixed success.
United have won once at home to Leicester, before losing away to Brighton the following week.
With all the attention rightly on United midfielder Paul Pogba, Fred is being almost forgotten about in the lead up to the game by the media, but Tottenham will not be caught by surprise.
