Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has dismissed suggestions he is treated too favourably by France boss Didier Deschamps.
Sissoko is back with Les Bleus for the international qualifiers, reward for his recent form.
The 29-year-old could even start today when France host Iceland in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Despite his recent good form for Spurs, his inclusion in the squad and possible XI needs selling a bit to some French fans, who dismiss him as a teacher’s pet of Deschamps, as they would rather see younger players picked.
Sissoko has responded to those claims when put to him in an interview with Le Figaro.
He said: “It makes me smile more than anything else. In any case, it does not bother me.
“If I’m the darling of the manager, all the better. The coach likes me, he knows how I am.
“If I’m here, so much the better. After that, it did not guarantee me a place in the World Cup.”

Sissoko played at Euro 2016 and starred as France reached the final.
He did not make the World Cup 2018 squad and missed out on a winner’s medal.
That makes his recent return to prominence even more rewarding, and demonstrates how well he has been playing for Tottenham.
