Tottenham winger looks on the bright side.

Georges-Kevin N’Koudou has not had the best of starts at Tottenham Hotspur, but he is looking on the bright side.

The Frenchman signed on deadline day after more than a month of protracted transfer negotiations, and has spent most of his time at Spurs on the bench.

The former Marseille ace has had to make do with cameo appearances, in which he really needs to make a big impact in order to earn more opportunities.

Last night he came on in the Champions League victory over CSKA Moscow, although he did not manage to score his first goal for the club.

He had one attempt, but it’s safe to say the effort did not hit the target.

N’Koudou at least saw the funny side, and took to Twitter after the game to compare his shot to a meme of a cat, asking fans who is better.

He offered an insight into his mindset with another comment, insisting that whatever happens, he is always happy.

His positive attitude will be helpful with criticism of Tottenham’s transfer dealing building.

Spurs need N’Koudou to kick on and start contributing, especially heading into a crucial stretch of games over the festive period.
