Tottenham midfielder’s season is over.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luke Amos has suffered a torn ACL, the Evening Standard report.
Amos is set to undergo surgery on the knee injury and will play no further part this season.
The injury was suffered in an under-23 game last Friday against Blackburn Rovers.
Amos was Tottenham’s brightest pre-season star after shining in games against AC Milan, Roma, and Barcelona.
He made his debut against Newcastle in the Premier League and has been back with the under-23s since, captaining the side and waiting for a chance.
Cruelly, he was just about to get it.

The Evening Standard report that due to injuries in midfield to Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, Amos was set to be included as part of Tottenham’s matchday squad against Barcelona.
Now out for the season, his prospects are harmed further than just this year.
He faces a race to be back even for next year’s pre-season, and he has lost momentum when his career prospects looked better than ever.
