Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyht is wanted by Boca Juniors.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth is being lined up for a transfer by Boca Juniors.
Boca have identified Foyth’s lack of game time at Tottenham and hope they can tempt him back to Argentina, just one year after he left Estudiantes.

Boca are looking for a new centre-back as they prepare to sell Lisando Magallan to Ajax.
Foyth is on a three man shortlist along with Valencia’s Ezequiel Garay and Swansea’s Federico Fernandez.
The 20-year-old made eight appearances for Tottenham this past season, but none in the Premier League.

It would be a surprise if Tottenham allowed Foyth to leave, with Spurs expected to sell Toby Alderweireld.
A replacement will likely be signed, but Foyth will be stronger and have benefitted from his first year adapting to England.
After making the decision to uproot and move across the world, he may not be willing to return to Argentina so soon without fully testing himself, and Boca Juniors may have to concentrate their efforts elsewhere.
