Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are now just one step away from signing Yves Bissouma ahead of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Aston Villa and Everton, according to Sky Sports.
Sky Sports have reported this morning that Bissouma has completed his Tottenham medical and will now move to Spurs from Brighton and Hove Albion.
Tottenham will reportedly pay Brighton an initial transfer fee of £25 million for the Mali international midfielder.
Sky Sports have reported that Arsenal, Everton and Aston Villa all want(ed) to sign Bissouma in the summer transfer window, but the 25-year-old has undergone a medical at Spurs and is now about to sign for the North London club.
Yves Bissouma boost for Tottenham, disappointment for Arsenal
In our view, Yves Bissouma signing for Tottenham Hotspur is a huge boost for the North London club and a bitter disappointment for their arch-rivals Arsenal.
Tottenham will be a better team with Bissouma in the squad.

The 25-year-old is a very good combative midfielder who can also drive the team forward, and his arrival at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would enhance Tottenham’s chances of finishing in the Premier League top four next season.
Arsenal do have a good midfield, but a player of Bissouma’s quality and experience would have made them better.
And let’s not forget that Bissouma is only 25, which means that his best years are ahead of him.
