Tottenham Hotspur have maintained their pressure on Chelsea with victory over Arsenal in the North London derby.
Gary Lineker has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Arsenal in the North London derby on Sunday evening.
Tottenham maintained their good run of form with a 2-0 victory over Arsenal at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.
After a goalless first half, Dele Alli put Spurs in the lead in the 55th minute, and Harry Kane doubled the advantage from the penalty spot just before the hour mark.
Tottenham legend Lineker was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.
Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer and ex-Spurs star Graham Roberts have also taken to Twitter to give their reactions to the win for Mauricio Pochettino’s team against the Gunners.
The win against Arsenal means that Tottenham remain second in the Premier League table with 77 points from 34 matches.
The North London outfit are four points behind leaders and London rivals Chelsea and are very much in the race for the title.
Spurs will return to action on Friday evening when they take on West Ham United away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
